He signed with TCU without taking an official visit, even before the virus hit.

This kid played every SEC school and got all the attention he wanted.

Maybe? TCU has won 6 out of the last 8 against Texas.

Don’t think it’s much different than if they had just played the process like other top recruits do and he would likely be at a school he actually wants to attend and play for right now. Maybe he doesn’t give a shite I don’t know.

I’m sure he’s still a perfect Bo Jackson/Herschel/Barry Sanders mixture to Smokeyone

Not really. Pretty sure UGA, Bama, and LSU had all dropped out of the evans sweepstakes before the virus stuff

He can’t sign. He can only enroll at this point. If he enrolled at TCU then I wish him the best. No one will mistake him for a poster child of what a high school student should be but he was no where near the toxic kid he was made out to be. It was clear he wasn’t coming to Tennessee when Pruitt took 4 RB commits in this class. It just wasn’t meant to be

My opinion of him and the situation wasn’t tied to him coming to Knoxville. I was just wondering why everyone was treating him as toxic over simply not getting along with a high school coach. He was a rare talent and if not a Vol at least the Vols will not have to face him

It’s not just that. Bama had issues with him before any of that stuff even went down.

You can think he’s worth the risk (which I did) while also acknowledging that there were some character issues. But he’s an 18 year old kid, so I would hope he‘ll become more mature over the next few years.
