That's correct, our coach's told him that he was too immature and needed to move on. He didn't like it and everyone else jumped on him from there. Pulling for the kid but glad he is getting a chance.

I can’t tell if you finally understand that he signed with uga. Your response was that bad.

He couldn't sign another NLI, but he probably signed a TCU aid agreement for his enrollment there on a football scholarship. Best wishes to Zach.

It’s not your fault. I really shouldn’t joke about your condition.

UGA screwed this kid over badly but at least he will be able to put it behind him. Kid thought he was signing an FAA agreement and was set to EE at UGA as the crowning piece of their class (sorry I assumed everybody was familiar with this and that’s why I referred to his LOI as an aid agreement). Since had never publicly committed to UGA and thought he had just signed an aid agreement he thought he could just commit and EE elsewhere. He told UGA he wasn’t going to commit to them and all of the sudden he is toxic and UGA was the one wanting out. Because of the timing of the release (UGA dragged it feet) he couldn’t EE, was already graduated from highschool, corona hits and he can’t enroll anywhere.

Looking at the kid, he was unfairly criticized a lot. And will likely do well at and get a degree from TCU before getting drafted.

Are you dumb or just stupid?! How did UGA screw this kid?

He F'd up and Kirby let him out of the signing completely.

He COULD have screwed him and made him honor the agreement and have him transfer, lose a year, etc...

He should be thanking Kirby.

And on cue the puppy pound chimes in without a clue between them. They really believe that Mark Smart and his 5-7 arrests the last decade plus would not take a kid that had minor disagreements with a high school coach. Really?

No One has been as consistently wrong about uga as you have been for decades, so hilarious to see you accuse uga of being clueless about uga. You always think uga is gonna go 7-5 or 8-4, and it almost never happens.

After dealing with Brenton Cox, of course Kirby would want to avoid a repeat experience. It was impossible to ignore the glaring red flags for Evans, which of course you downplay out of your cluelessness. Selfish people often struggle in team settings.

You keep saying this, but you, me, and everyone else knows that "not getting along with a high school coach" isn't the only reason he is considered a headache or "toxic".

So what else was it? What am I missing here? UGA doesn’t screw him over and he EEs at UGA and suddenly he wasn’t toxic? But because he was lied to these hints and innuendos keep popping up.

This is just sad at this point, he's going to TCU so defending him while only telling a (very) small part of the story is making you look even dumber now. If you think a large number of big schools backed off the kid because of a "Disagreement with a high school coach once" then you are truly just clueless.

TCU is a good spot for him. Gary Patterson runs a tight ship. I don’t think this is a kid who would last long as a backup either, so I think he would’ve transferred out of a place like UGA anyways.

He’ll be better off at a school with a good coach, and he can play a lot quickly
