Tell me why Coach O is different from Gene Chizik

Both had questionable coaching careers then had a dream season with a Heisman winning QB. Chizik lasted two years after the dream season with Cam. Why will Coach O be different?

LSU is the Big Dog in their home state. Auburn is not. No slam on Auburn, just the way it is.

Burrow was pretty average in 2018.
They have nothing in common besides having bad records at prior jobs, but then you already knew that.

That's fair. I would say that LSU usually has a good bit more talent than Auburn.

Because we haven't seen how things pan out for O after the Burrow season? Things might fall apart, they might not.
You can't call him Chizik 2.0 until he fails and gets fired not too long after the Burrow season.

O built up LSU to a national power after Miles left. O has recruited well to keep LSU contending for titles well after their title season. O has teeth. Gene had neither of these.

Auburn's offense with Cam doesn't translate because there aren't many humans that can do what he can do with his legs at that size. LSU's offense translates much easier and LSU has recruited the talent to run that offense.

Outside of 2010, Chizik never won more than 8 games.
O has never won less than 9.
Its an ignorant comparison.

Pretty sure his age will do that in a few years.

He accounted for 3,293 yards and 24 touchdowns.
By comparison, in 2019, Kyle Trask accounted for 2,949 yards and 29 touchdowns.

"Below average"; He led LSU to 10 wins, a bowl victory & a Top 6 ranking. When was the last time the gators were that average? His stats his last 4 games were comparable to a degree to his season this year. As for Coach O vs Chizik, Coach O has won 25 games in back to back seasons, I believe Chizik's best records were listed earlier here. No comparison.

After this year, Coach O will not need defending anymore

I hate people who are satisfied with lazy Connect the dot narratives. I really do. Think man, think.

LSU's recruiting is meaningfully better than AU's.

One speaks English and one speaks..... Well, I don't know what he speaks.
