last night not only did games take place, the games had normal sized crowds for the first round games.

Then-- we decide, conference tourneys go on, but bascially no crowds.

Later the NCAA basketball tournament was cancelled.

Right after that all Spring sports, including the College World Series in JUNE, were cancelled?

How can you have games like normal and in less than 24 hours decided the world is about to come to an end?

they found out everyone else was cancelling and some lawyer would use that as a reason to sue them if they did not also cancel but someone got sick

A lot of it probably had to do with the NBA situation

with that logic why not just end all spectator sports. I mean, on average 100 people are killed each day in a car wreck. I'm sure next year someone will catch the flu from someone at Jordan-Hare or the PMAC? If we're going off the deep end, lets just go all out.

This. You also have to figure some of the states hosting are locking everything down too. It was going to make it hard to facilitate even small groups.

Italy shut down, oil went from $60 to $30 barrel, the apocalypse is now, players went from licking microphones to being hospitalized, entire teams (Nebraska) are being quarantined, and oh yeah Tom Hanks caught the WuFlu.

Rudy Gobert's IGNORANT arse. I hope the other players sue his stupid arse. Acting so stupidly like a pure clown and then gets it. #HeDeservesIt

wake up fool this is the Flu times 35! 3500% more deaths and most of the country is infested , MOST who havent been tested and we have actual idiots running our country. If you havent already self quarantined days ago you are exposed already most likely anyway, so, ya shoulda pulled your head out of your arse last week! Btw, my exwife and her husband have corona virus, they found out today. They mocked me last week when I took my kid's out of school and now they have it. It's almost like Karma is real
