It's not about the kids Leaving to play out of state, it's all about HOW they leave. Sopsher basically tried to hold LSU hostage by demanding his brother get a scholarship. And that's total bullshite on his part.

I don't know anything about this current situation, nor have I heard the rumors, but the older you get, the more you realize that there are a lot of pieces of shite involved with high-level college athletics.

If he was/is like that, hopefully he's managed (or will manage) to turn himself around while he has the opportunities to do so.

I guess we just have to tell ourselves that the good-intentioned, hardworking players outweigh the bad. Pun intended.

Rumors are that big fat Ish is transferring to South Eastern

Exactly what I’m hearing!

That’s sad that Baby Bear couldn’t have just wrote a bigger check to let Ish’s lil bro be a Gump Two.

Now he’ll be Frank Scelfo’s headache.

All the kid needed was a motivating force to reach his potential just like Tyler Shelvin.

Ole Sabah is clearly past it when he cannot motivate an ISH

Got passed up by lightly recruited DJ Dale, who was also a true freshman. Dale took the starting NG position in preseason camp before the injuries destroyed Bama's DL.

After the injuries, two other true freshman DL played a ton while Sopsher rode the bench.

Sopsher played against Western Carolina because Bama had about 4 DL healthy for that game. He looked good against FCS Western Carolina.

With Timothy Smith coming in, Sopsher will at best be 3rd string at NG.

Sounds like a coaching & motivation issue along the lines of a Tyler Shelvin — Sabah just getting too old to light em up like Oeaux does. Coaching changes didn’t help

You Baws know this kid was projected 2nd Rd

This thread also shows that LSU fans still have a lot of pent up frustration for losing 8 consecutive.

Was Bama ever really the place for this kid? They recruit 24 highly motivated kids with pro mentalities and one kid with effort and drive issues?

He might eventually be a pro, but he'll probably be in the portal after next season.

Word on BOL is Sopsher is in the offseason program and has been the most impressive DL out there.

Now things can change he could get homesick or whatever but at the moment he is not in the portal and he is working with the team and evidently doing well.
