The complaint isn't so much with the Wed/Sat format, as much as it is the late Wed to 11:00 am Sat game. For instance, LSU played the late game at Vandy a few weeks back and didn't return home until 3:00 am Thursday morning. That kind of limits what you can do practice/rest-wise on Thursday. Then they had to turn around the next day and fly out to Auburn for an 11:00 am start, which is a fairly quick turnaround.
It's kind of chicken-shite for ANY SEC team (not just LSU) to have to play the very latest mid-week game, then turn around and play the earliest Sat. game. It seems like a pretty easy fix to make the 11:00 am Sat. game a match up of teams that played on Tuesday

The SEC found a way to make LSU do it twice in three weeks. No one else has done it. I realize it’s hard to balance everyone’s schedule when there are 14 teams....but I’d bitch about it too. They actually do have to go to school.
