Weird Stat - LSU has only lost 5 games 3 times since 2000, each 6 years apart

2002 - 8-5
2008 - 8-5
2014 - 8-5
So, if LSU goes 8-5 in 2020 (which is highly unlikely), I think we might have to toss that one in the "If the national title game is in New Orleans LSU is going to be in it" pile of random stats.
At that point let's all hope the national title game isn't in New Orleans in 2026. Might be a sign that the world is ending.

Is it though?
They lost everything. All their best players. All their best coaches.
They have to play Bama, @A&M, @UF, @AUB, and could slip versus tu, the pirate, or in their low level bowl game.

A&M doesn’t belong with the other teams you listed.

All you can do is fantasize about LSU not being a power house and continue with the so many times proven false narrative that A&M is some kind of sleeping giant. You do this every year.
For LSU reality is described in only two words: NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.
How unreachable is that for your team?
LSU may take a step back in 2020 but will win another NC, likely more, long before A&M is even a serious contender for one in the later stages of a season.

And we seem to have a very good offense the year prior:
2001
2007
2013
2019
2001
2007
2013
2019

Yes, there's no way (without significant injury) this team loses 5 games this year. Way too much talent these days and it's not like any of those es Miles years any more.
the only way we'd be in jeopardy of losing 5+ is losing Myles Brennan to injury, which I would agree could definitely lose 5 games without him.

How embarrassed will you feel losing to LSU again?

We could send the practice squad to UT reject land and still get the w.

LSU returns its best WR, DB and Dlineman.

Hard to believe, but I'm not familiar with that one.

You don't have to appease the coonasses just bc they outnumber you here. That really wouldn't be that shocking
