Destyn Hill from FSU just entered, and it was said Shea was waiting for him to so that seems positive

Wonder how’d he’d be with our roster as opposed to a billionaires lol

The swamp is memorable.
re: The best thing about Saban retiring

This narrative was actually quite overblown. Most of the LA kids that ended up at Bama didn't live up to their hype.

re: For LSU to compete in post-Daniels era, a more diverse running game will be required.

We have all the RB’s coming in this offseason and next. With our o-line we’ll be just fine in that department

It’s cool Keith Brooking is on staff there as well. His son a pretty good TE they say.
I’m a native of savannah as well.

You forgot Benedictine as well. Savannah has turned into a really good athletic base in the past 10 years.

People on on3 saying Nebraska. Has family on staff apparently
re: There seems to be confusion from some about what bowl games LSU can make. I’ll help.

One of the inheritance scenarios in your hyperbolic narrative is not like the other my man

Yup. If it wasn't LSU, I'm prolly turning it off at the half.
I get it, but at that time in college football, having #1 and #2 in such a slugfest, I think the whole nation was tuned in. Context matters I suppose

2011 was called the game of the century for a reason. Talk about heavyweights just going at it for 60+ minutes. Best all around defense performance from two teams we will likely ever see.
re: Mason Taylor down the left side line was nice.

Reminded me of that JC Copelan run down the sidelines against Bama, although I refused to say that aloud given how that game turned out lol.
re: Polian- he has a ton of experience coaching special teams at big time football schools

I'm not sure how nobody wants to talk about Bk saying we're so thin with lack of depth and the roster that we have legit starters out there on ST our of necessity. We simply don't have the players right now.

Every one of the guys were high 4-star recruits except for Coker and McElroy. McElroy signed before Saban got there.
Sims made 2nd team ALL-SEC.
Coker (transfer) won a National Championship as a starter.
McCarron was 2-time All SEC, won the Maxwell, and 2 Natty.
McElroy played well enough to win a title.
The point is, when looking at this list no-one stands out as THE dude. None of these guys made much of any noise at the next level. Pretty easy to see these guys were sufficient college Qb's via the 5 star talent completely surrounding them.
re: I see people on this board saying it will take 2 more years to turn our program around

Did one of those aforementioned coaches inherent 39 scholly guys??
re: brian kelly stats on wins.

Two teams below .500 in all those years is the most impressive "stat"
re: Thoughts on Sage Ryan?

It wasn't the busted coverage for me, that happens, especially with a new safety back there. The disappointing part was his lack of any competitive tackle attempt after the catch. He basically got dragged into the end zone.
re: Football scoop saying Woodward will formally offer the job to Riley tonight.
Posted by BayouBengal1024 on 11/27/21 at 10:13 am
Well Shea on 247 said Woodward wasn’t going to offer the job to anyone “formally” without knowing it was coming back with a signature almost immediately. I like putting 2 and 2 together with this news…
re: OU if Riley leaves

So are you saying OU has an active list of candidates??
re: What does Stingleys draft stock look like?

Stingley played against his toughest competition his freshman year in practice. He’s top 5, maybe top 3.
