Not really a knock on UGA, as a UGA fan I totally understand you guys relishing in the recruiting riches. Who wouldn’t? At the same time you guys can’t honestly admit that Kirby continues to underachieve on the field. That’s why I don’t get it. Congrats though!

I’m just glad all this talent is going to UGA where they will underachieve...instead of Bama.

Kirby has yet to produce the best team in the country. He has however produced 2 top 5 and another top 10 team. Won an SECC and won a playoff game. He’s won the Sugar and the Rose Bowls. 13-11-12 wins..this is “high cotton” for all but the most elite of programs. I don’t think UGA fans are satisfied, but what Kirby has don’t isn’t “underachieving” at anywhere but Bama. And we ain’t Bama.

Georgia is likely to finish 4th in the final polls. Should top prospects only go to teams ranked 1-3?

How has he underachieved - please explain. He’s finished 2nd in the country, 7th and 5th in the country and most of that was done with someone else’s recruits. Next year will be the first season where everyone on the roster was a kid he personally recruited. You sound dumb as fk.

He just won the Sugar Bowl with his B team and will have his team ranked in the Top 5 to end the season. Yeah, LSU is better this year, we all know that. Still, Kirby has three SEC East Championships in a row, an SEC Championship, a College Football Playoff win in the Rose Bowl, missed a National Championship on a last second play - all in his first five years as a Head Coach. And he hasn't quit and is still pushing for that National Title, thus the recruiting excellence.
I am not sure you understand what 'underachieve' means.

We pretty consistently finish in the top 5 in the country.
2017-#2
2018-#6
2019- Top 4 probably #4
That may not be a NC but it is not underachieving.

What if I tell you since 2017 UGA's record is 36-7. During this same stretch LSU's record is 33-7. If you win the NC it would be 34-7. Congrats on a great season playing for a NC. 2017,2018 UGA came close to winning a NC.
Don't let your teams great season have you overlook what is happening in Athens.
