Why does he have just above average numbers against the high school schedule they played?

3,431 yards, 36 touchdowns, 8 picks

Only played two top 50 passing defenses, Georgia Tech and Ohio State.

Numbers against Georgia Tech: 13/23 168 yards 1 touchdown 2 interceptions

Ohio State: 18/33 259 yards 2 touchdowns

Chad Kelly had 4,042 and 31 TD's AND rapped a song about himself. I think we all know who the real winner is here boys.

Imagine throwing more INTs on fewer passes against inferior competition

He is overrated. He's a good college QB and has the measurables but I never expected Clemson to get a QB as good as Watson right after Watson.

Honest answer: We are much more balanced offensively than LSU.

Clemson: #12 Rushing Offense @ 246 yds/game
LSU: #61 Rushing Offense @ 167 yds/game

Also, most of our games were over by halftime and Lawrence was sitting on the sideline watching our backups get reps.

As far as his early season struggles, he was trying to do to much. Throwing into coverage and not hitting his checkdowns. He's since remedied that and hasn't thrown a pick since mid-October.

Man this is rich considering what he did to your team last time around.

You are either an idiot or troll if you think he is overrated at the college level. He is a winner. Just because his team’s defense doesn’t suck allowing him more opportunities to throw the ball, doesn’t mean he can’t.

Literally hasn’t lost a game in two years. NFL arm, better than average QB mobility and big games in pressure situations.

If you are only comparing him to Burrow (the highest rated QB), of course he isn’t going to compare numbers wise. This doesn’t make him overrated.

Clemson averages like 3 more carries a game than LSU.

Burrow averages around 7 passes more per game than Lawrence. Thats like 126 more yards per game and around 1.5 more touchdowns per game on 7 more passes against much better competition.

Okay. Now list the defenses each team faced.

So was Jalen Hurts and he has better numbers. Is he better than Lawrence?

I thought he was until Saturday. He really impressed me. Still would take Tua or Burrow over him though

Those are as much team accomplishments as they are his.

Just curious, outside of the Playoff, have you actually watched an LSU football game?

WTF does this have to do with completion percentage, yards, and/or INTs? Burrow only played all 4 quarters in 5 games. (if memory serves me right, it may only be 4)
