Best they can get to coach there?

Who else with a name could they have gotten?

To prevent Saban from hiring him to replace the inept moron currently pretending to be Alabama’s DC

It's a school with no football history, little in-state talent, surrounded by football powerhouses. You're taking the job to be fired. Just make sure you get a killer buyout if you sign up to coach there

To OP: Baseball coach AD
With this AD, yeah.

Same reason LSU hired O after his OM flop and Bert flopped at Arky after winning at Wisconsin. Some coaches just work better certain places.

Because they thought he would improve. After his second year most the fans were hyping him up . Now they see what the rest of us were trying to tell them . Muschamp sucks and his only good year at USCe was only because of the East being horrible that year .

O was only hired at LSU because he had been interim coach.

Florida's sloppy seconds is what they do?

Muschamp is an overrated DC. But he’d be better than the UTSA guy who Saban hired as his DC. (What’s his name again?)
Seriously, if any SEC coach not named Saban hired a guy with that resume as DC, they’d be risking their job.

It’s South Carolina. They asked Saban and he said no.

Didn't win the East twice at Florida?

These tales have more of a pulse than your offense. And I’m saying that being an Aggie fan.

I actually thought he’d do better at Carolina because he was more prepared to be a head coach. You could watch his opening press conference at Florida (swaying back and forth, nervous mannerisms) and tell he wasn’t ready. He was far more put together in his opener at South Carolina.
The same problems that plagued him at UF have followed him to USCe: inconsistent or plain bad QB play, injuries, and misfire hires on his staff.
