What's funny about me being a Vandy fan is that I'm not even a big Vandy baseball fan...
Their best sport and my favorite sport... but my allegiance is to WKU. Want Vandy to do good and always hope they win.. just not as big of a fan as I am in football and basketball

Wonk arse administrators trying to figure out how to make Vandy a winner when they just had a good coach come in there and show them that they need a good coach. But no, it has to be something else. I swear there are more stupid people on a college campus than you can shake a stick at.

Tennessee is still your bitch until proven otherwise. Some of us remember the pre-Franklin era when Vandy truly was pathetic.
Vanderbilt football isn't "pathetic", relative to much of the rest of the SEC. I mean, it's not like you're Arkansas. Plus, you've still got that .500 record vs. Auburn going for you.
Vandy needs to start spending some of that SEC TV money for some serious facilities upgrades. Recruiting to Vandy is difficult enough.

You could do like other Vandy grads do. Laugh at how stupid the rest of the conference is. I’ve had the opportunity to sit with the Vandy blue bloods at a basketball game. The way they look down on the rest of the conference is remarkable.

Bro, in this case I would say just pick another team to root for when not playing Vandy.
I’m not quite sure what you actually are a fan of when it comes to Vandy football?
The school has chosen not to sell its academic soul to win some games or conference championships- nothing wrong with that.
I’m sure a degree from Vandy is held in higher regard than any other school in the SEC and nationwide.
If i were you, I’d pull for them, but also latch onto a team that actually has a shot at winning something. I mean there a thousands of sidewalk Bama fans that haven’t even been to the campus one time.
Just pick a major team to root for.
Surely, there is a family member that has an allegiance to another team that you can say why you are rooting for them now.

It's been a few times when Alabama just wouldn't pull the trigger on changing basketball coaches.
Finally it was done ( and this has been multiple times over the years)

How would you like to be a fan of the school that dropped a pop fly to lose the NC in baseball, and probably spends 10:1 with Vandy in football, and still loses to G5 schools?
