It’s a HUGE mistake to not give Leach a long and hard look. Watching Arkansas the last two seasons was like watching paint dry.
Leach may not win the SEC, but he’ll beat some teams he isn’t supposed to every year and make Arkansas football somewhat exciting to watch.

Arkansas needs this hire to be a good one. With the money in that university, and the history and location, I don't see why they couldn't practically pull anyone they wanted. It's easy to sit back and laugh at them right now, but in my opinion they're just as high profile as Auburn. If they really want Gus (and I don't know why they would), seems like it would be easy to get him away from AU.

I am an LSU fan behind the enemy lines of Arkansas. I catch a lot of grief when Hogs are good so I root against them heavily. If y’all get the national treasure that is Mike Leach y’all will become my second favorite team. They’re crazy to stick their nose up at him. Incredible entertainment value and he wins with less talent which is what Arkansas needs.

3 attainable hires that would be a great fit at Ark:
1. Lane kiffin
2. Mike leach
3. Les Miles
These guys each bring something unique that would make ark relevant again.
Having lived in Arkansas I know hog fans view of their program isn’t the same as the national view. I was shocked they viewed themselves in the same light as a aub/LSU/uga. The national view on them is a Missouri/Texas tech type program.
They need to focus on getting to 7 wins again and then grow from there

i feel for you, if i was any team outside of the top 10 programs, i would take Leach in a heartbeat.
you at least KNOW the offense is going to score points and win 7/8+ a year.

You need to get the rest of the fans to blow up all official Arkansas football emails , Twitter ect with request for Leach .

I'm a "no" on Leach myself. He's a gimmick. He's hilarious, no doubt, but he's way overrated imo.
You can't take a "no defense" approach in the SEC. It won't work.

Arkansas will be paying two coaches to not coach so the best route is to go after Art Briles. He would be considerably cheaper than Leach. Both can win at Arkansas but Briles has the connections to Texas High Schools full of over looked players.

While I'm sympathetic to you and yours's plight, I find it exceedingly difficult to hope that you find a good football coach. In fact, I'm finding it to be impossible to do so.
