re: Who was the more electric player to watch: Mathieu or Daniels?
Posted by Born to be a Tiger1 on 12/29/25 at 6:47 am to rmnldr
HB was the best. Daniel's had help with Nabers and BJT just like Joe had with Chase and Jefferson. Without those great wide receivers they aren't even considered for the Heisman. HB made his plays on his own and was a Heisman finalist not based of off his ability to hookup with other great players. HB took what he wanted and didn't need help to get what he wanted.

You forgot about the exhibition refs.

How's the hunting and fishing?
As long as Saskatchewan is part of the deal.
Alberta and Saskatchewan have great whitetail hunting. The world record for Boone and Crockett typical was taken in Bigger Saskatchewan Canada. Both have similar resources to Texas along with great hunting. Not sure about the fishing.
Quote from Google search below.
Biggar, Saskatchewan, is famous in the hunting world as the site where Milo Hanson harvested the world's record typical whitetail buck in 1993, a legendary trophy scoring 213 5/8 points, still the largest ever, making the area a bucket-list destination for trophy hunters seeking giant bucks in the province's renowned hunting grounds. Saskatchewan, in general, offers premier deer hunting, with outfitters like Saskatchewan Big Buck Adventures guiding hunts for these world-class animals in a unique, cold, snowy landscape.

re: ND leaving the ACC for non-football sports?
Posted by Born to be a Tiger1 on 12/8/25 at 10:06 pm to usc6158
I think ND should start a new conference and call it the Religious Nine. Members are ND, BYU, Boston College, Wake Forest, Duke, Baylor, TCU and SMU. It would be fun watching the Catholics vs the Mormons or the Methodist vs the Baptist and so on. They could also add the Arizona Sun Devil's to make it an even ten. I know it's a crazy idea but would be great for tv and an easy way for ND to earn their automatic entry into the CFP.

Can someone explain why the wave went around Louisiana?
re: Declining a bowl is pussy shite. Moreover, its a detriment to the team.

ND are a bunch of soft pussies.
If they want an almost sure way into the CFP then they should join the Big 12 conference. The ACC might be too tough for them.

Yes, it is!

You forgot to add Notre Dame with the other two.

So LSU is down to one QB?
No, there was a freshman #19 ready to go if Van Buren went down. I think Ju'Juan would have taken over.

Genuine question: How do they weed out freeloaders/frauds? I’m talking about the ones that actually have a boyfriend(dad) who won’t marry the mom in order to qualify for SNAP?
If they are smart about it, you never will. But if they are sloppy or have no other options; the way they will get caught is by having all of the federal government agencies talking to each other.
In your scenario: Woman applies for SNAP benefits and has to list everyone in the household as well as the household income. Boyfriend(dad) works to provide for the family without marrying the mom. Payroll records and tax forms are tied to the same address as the woman's application.
Currently the 2 systems do not cross check data. Have them linked with people routinely auditing the data within the systems. And these types of situations will eventually be caught.
I see this first hand. I know of a couple that has two kids and have lived together before having the kids but never married. The mom works at a school that pays low wages. She uses all the government help while the father has a job making over $100,000 per year. They go on trips all over the country and do at least one cruise per year.

Same here.
I guess everyone on the PT board makes over $100,000 per year. I work around a lot of people that make between $50,000 and less than $100,000 per year and they get taxed, pay their share of the medical insurance and get no government help besides the standard deduction. Our medical insurance went up between 27% and 42% depending on single or family plans. I would prefer that instead of giving people each $2,000 they (government) should just add it to the Standard Deduction for this 2025 tax season.

Wish I would be in town for that game. I was hoping Denham Springs wouldn't get the bye week while I'm back in the area so I could watch in person.

Over here in Texas the gasoline prices for the last six months have dropped to as low as $2.39 for a few days then mysteriously jumps back to $2.79. This cycle has continued doing this every time gasoline gets around $2.40 it then jumps to $2.79 like clockwork. They mix the low price up so the normies don't notice the trend. This area is in the Temple - Waco - Belton - Gatesville area
That was posted on September 29, 2025. Yesterday October 22, 2025 gas was down to $2.29 - $2.43 in the morning and by lunch the price went to $2.69. The cycle continues.
re: Chick-fil-A is the most overrated company of all time
Posted by Born to be a Tiger1 on 10/14/25 at 5:50 pm to FAT SEXY
If you want good service then go to Chick-fil-A. If you want great tasting chicken then go to Popeyes. Great tasting chicken trumps good service. You can't get full off of good service. The Popeyes in Temple has pretty good service even during lunchtime.
re: Does Popeyes or Church's have the worst service?

That guy is tough in a Popeyes, but let see if he is that tough at a Waffle House.
