Dude knows the sec and knows that recruiting footprint.

Even if he ain't cheating, he could still probably pull top 25 classes since that's historically been about Arkansas' average.

Dude runs a very similar offense to Chaz, so the transition would be minimal.

He actually puts an emphasis of defense, which most offensive coaches do not.

He has already won 2 more games at Liberty than he should have, based on talent.

You can leverage him into an iron clad contract that would preclude any illcit behavior and protect the University from buyouts.

You could pay him $3 million/year and get $5-6 million results.

He actually knows how to beat Alabama.

In a hire that can't go wrong, he will get at leat back to mediocrity, anf Hog fans would build statues for him with that

He's got a little experience in recruiting Arkansas, as well, from having coached at Arkansas State.

Absolutely right. Personally I’d love to see him back in the conference.

I want to see some triple option in the SEC. No one likes playing against triple options teams.

Norvell to Arky, Freeze to Memphis.

I actually think State is a prime candidate for running the option. All my life run blocking and D have been the only things we do relatively well. And we can recruit athletes to play QB.

But I don’t think many programs are okay with accepting the very defined ceiling that comes with committing to the option.

Didn't Freeze get in hot water due to recruiting violations and such?

Are we that desperate as to put ourselves under that microscope?

I don't see that passing muster.

Hugh Freeze is coaching where he needs to be and that is where he needs to stay.

Meh, he got a one year show cause for not controlling what other people did. He got actually fired for calling up hookers on his university issued cell phone.

I'd be more leery of hiring him because he apparently, at times, is apt to use quite poor judgement.

There aren’t enough hookers in Fayetteville, Hugh Freeze thinks it would actually be a horrible fit!!!

If you suck and haven't been above average in forever, why not? frick the NCAA. Following their rules is not a moral issue and anyone that thinks it is is a moron

You could easily structure his contract that it's voided in the case of recruiting violations beyond the secondary sort and even possibly word it to where he owes the university money in this case. I’d take him at Auburn in the event Gus is fired or leaves.

Or we could just hire a coach without all the baggage Freeze, Petrino, or Briles brings.

That is an option as well.
