Kirby Smart says in his press conference: “It’s about the talent of the players, not about the X’s and O’s”

Georgia fans- how do you feel about your coach taking shots at college kids, implying they’re not talented, and giving Florida “bulletin board material” that you bitch about Florida doing every year?

Also, how do you feel about Kirby conceding Mullen is a better coach than he is? Not that we didn’t already all know that to be true.

Golly, we are just all in awe of the fancy passing offense at UF. Do you think Mullen starts the game with one of those super secret trick plays again like last year...so close. If your two corners didn’t go down you’d have obviously won by 20. I know, your players and coach told me.

Several coaches have made this comment over the years, regardless of whether its true or not I certainly don’t take it as any kind of shot. Why wouldn’t he think the players he recruits are the best?

I think both fan bases are grasping a bit here on bulletin board material.

Luckily our talent on the starting 22 is pretty darn good. Our issue is depth. If we lose a couple guys it's far more of a problem for us than Georgia.

Swift is about to go off on Florida. LSU proved that you can run on Florida. Early and often. The thing Florida does best, pass rush, is not that important against a team like UGA. Florda better snap the chin straps tight because the bulldogs have been hearing about how bad they are for three weeks.

Difference is vs LSU Florida had to respect the pass and let you run. Watch the Auburn game. When we do not respect you in the air we do pretty well vs the run.

But they’ve got Todd Grantham, a man known for his ability to shut down offenses and own 3rd down. They don’t call it 3rd and Grantham for nothing.

Didn't we throw 3 TDs on third down last season? Keep disrespecting.

FWIW, Auburn has a much better QB and RB than UGA

One has had quite a bit more talent. Smart is a better recruiter, Mullen a better game planner. I mean the game was close last year till depth killed us. Wasn't that Mullen had a bad game plan or scheme. Sometimes, you are just out manned.

Do you want to save this quote for next year, too?

That's one way to interpret it I guess.

Can't way for this one.

I think last year's game was much closer than the final score indicated. UGA opened the lead late but UF had their chances to make it a game.

Where is your evidence?

Florida is so desperate for this to be true. The loss this week will make you salty. Losing to a 1980 pro style offense.

How long until you turn on grantham?

He's starting to piss me off. While this is true in the NFL, it's not the case in college unless you are drastically more talented than the other team. He better change up those X's and O's for the rest of the schedule or we're in big trouble with this mindset.
