I honestly wish Greenard hadn’t gotten injured and Zuniga had played the whole game.

Would have been a proper test to see what our offense can do. That being said, our offense can only play the defense that lines up in front of them

Mac could be your stock Saban game manager but obviously he’ll need to be more than that if we want to beat LSU.

It will be a game where the team that gets 3-4 stops wins. Even for Tua, the margin of error is going to be pretty slim.

The Mac attack is gonna shock some people against Arky, 3 passing TD's, 1 rushing, 225+ yds.

For further controversy: LSU is not as good as people think and are in for a dogfight this weekend with an overlooked Auburn team.

I agree with both. Mac will look like a different player with a week of practice and knowing he's going to play.

And if AU doesn't beat LSU, they'll come close.

Mac is the type of player that occasionally shows out in practice, but gets the deer in headlights look when the lights come on and it’s for real.
This Arkansas game is gonna be ugly.

If we don’t have a relative Tua for the L8U game it will be a repeat of Clemson last year. We will get our asses handed to us with this defense

I think I could shock some people against Arkansas. Mac looked terrible against Tennessee!

Well Arkansas has a shite tier defense so I hope he’s capable of at least that given the crazy good supporting cast.

Yeah I can’t see Nix having a good game.

It would be funny, but I don’t see it.

Auburn’s secondary is way more than suspect and Nix just really isn’t very good.

I hope y’all are right. Granted, he hasn’t really been given a chance to run the full offense in a real game so any judgement at this point is very premature.

In my amateur and untrained opinion, I haven’t seen or heard any indication that Mac is anything more than your typical game-managing backup QB. Hope he proves me wrong.

Keep this in mind. He had a cold start very unexpected.

He didn’t get 1st team reps. Different Mac comes out against Arkansas.

Well, I'm not saying he's going to be a superstar, but I think he has some talent. Greg McElroy would look like Peyton Manning with the skill players on this team.

All it takes is one key injury like we had Saturday night in Tuscaloosa....Derrick Brown is a bad MF'er and can change the game with one sack on Burrow!

He will look solid. He is competent enough to hit the short passes and should hit a decent amount of intermediate passes. You have to think they let him throw it a fair amount of times to get him ready for a possible start against LSU so I think his numbers will look better than yours.

This. You better believe he's getting ALL of Sark's attention this week, and the WR group will get in sync a little more. I wonder how big of an impact switching from lefty to righty has on them?

If mac has to play any meaningful snaps in LSU then we lose.

I hope that Mac goes out there and looks like a star, but I'll be honest when I say that not having an athletic playmaker taking snaps for the first time since 2013 makes me wince.

My skepticism might not even be based on reason, I realize that. But-Sims, Coker, Hurts, Tua-all had/have playmaking ability attributed to escapability in the pocket. We've been so spoiled.

I know that we've won NCs with McElroy and Mccarron, and this will probably be for one game only, but you dudes know what I'm getting at here.

My hot take is that the difference is Joe Burrow has proven between 2018 and 2019 he's definitely more durable than Tua is.

UF took it to LSU a 3rd string qb but I'm suppose to believe Bama with Mac Jones at home is a guaranteed loss.

Emory Jones had 1 yard passing, 36 rushing yards, and 1 passing TD in a 14 point loss?

He didn't really take it to anyone, and if he did, it's because of his running ability.
