I don't know. First thing Saban is going to do is turn him into a "game manager" which equates to "you better not throw any interceptions", which further equates to Mac probably short arming a ton of passes right into the grass.
I'd expect a serious old school Gene Stallings type run emphasis game. Low scoring, low number of plays, etc.

No way. I think you will be surprised how much they trust Mac throwing the ball.

The only Mac attack I want to see Saturday is the same Mac attack I've witnessed for the last 2 spring games. That would be the 2 spring games he literally threw circles around Jalen Hurts. The MVP of the spring game. That Mac attack.

I think this to a degree. Bama still has the Wrs. But ..say...3rd and 3. Tua to Jeudy was all day. So many times that was due to touch of Tua and their chemistry. That will be hard to replicate

That might have been the case if his first start was Nov. 9th against LSU, but this is Arkansas, so I'm expecting Sark to run Mac through the gauntlet as long as the game is going the right way.

Emory Jones had 1 yard passing, 36 rushing yards, and 1 passing TD in a 14 point loss?

He didn't really take it to anyone, and if he did, it's because of his running ability.

In fairness, he didn't say the 3rd string QB "took it to LSU". He said UF took it to them.

I won't say UF "took it to LSU", but they did give them a game for a while.

Game until the 4th QRT easy.

The score would have been 35-42 with a punch in on the goal line. UF Messed up big on 1 drive with Jones starting between the 20’s and not Trask.

Also keep in mind UF had to finish without there second best pass rush DE.
while also not having there best DE able to go at all.
Yet They were effective getting after barrow early in the game.

They in total had 6 rotational defensive players injured.

I’m not doing the transitive thing but we are better than people think.

The Mac attack looked broken against Tennessee. His passing fundamentals were just plain bad.

I'm not saying Mac is a superstar but in his defense there were three stone cold drops as soon as he went into the game. Somehow if Tua had thrown those exact same balls those are all catches.

The Mac attack is gonna shock some people against Arky, 3 passing TD's, 1 rushing, 225+ yds.

He certainly could. He isn't a "bad" QB.

But with his very limited experience, he isn't taking us to where we want to go this year.

Bama's offense is going to look like the Bama offense in late 2017 with Mac

I think he's much more capable than that.

He has showed he does have the ability in spring games. He just needs to get confidence, and the receivers must do their part.

Sark gets a chance to earn his money.

I agree with both. Mac will look like a different player with a week of practice and knowing he's going to play.

And if AU doesn't beat LSU, they'll come close
