Dumb as hell. So sick of these games. If you're going to play FCS can we not at least get one of the in-state teams?

It is the second to last game of the reg season; so, last game before "rivalry" week. Big time teams don't want a tough game the week before ...so it works both ways. Bama (AU...LSU...UF...OSU...) Dont want it and couldn't find it if they did want it because any decent team has a rival game the following week. You get teams that want a paycheck. I would rather have a bye but no one is going to forgo that game because it is still profitable

Why people get worked up over this?

Why not someone in-state like JSU? That would be amazing for them and their fans.

That's almost identical to LSU's OOC schedule this year.

Better than playing Western Carolina for the 20th year in a row.

According to next season's schedule, Alabama does indeed play a power 5 team before the barners. Not nearly as hard as folks make it out to be.

The NCAA should prohibit FBS vs FCS games.

I second that. SEC needs a 9 game conference schedule. Enough with these cupcake games in November

Why can’t we schedule UAB, Troy, JSU, USA, etc?

You apparently didn't look at the schedule very closely. We play UT Martin the week before aTm. Auburn running away from Georgia means we have LSU, aTm, and Auburn all in November next year. The OOC cupcake got moved up one week.

They fricked themselves, though. Their cupcake had to be moved up a week early, as well, and they have to play LSU and Bama back to back.
