We are improved at the skill positions. We have young talent in the back 7 on defense. But until we get the lines up to snuff, it's going to be a hard pull in the SEC.

We should win this weekend. We will be the better team this weekend. Sadly That does not mean we will win this weekend.
ETA: honestly this is the best way to describe the problem we have had at Arkansas with the past 2 coaches. We get above average talent but nothing exceptional. With the right coach we can win between 7-10 games every year. Which means winning every game we should and 1 or 2 we probably shouldn’t. But the flip side is if you get a coach that doesn’t give a shite or know his arse from a hole in the ground we end up with 4,3, and as evident from last year 2 win seasons.

Having a better team has been proven to not be enough for our current coaching regime. San Jose State is god awful but managed to waltz into our stadium and beat us.
I think we win if we get on top of them right off the bat. We can probably pull off being a front runner on a banged up Kentucky squad. I'm not sure we can come back from a deficit against them.

Exactly, since Stoops has far more coaching experience than Chaggy. Coaching might be>than Jimmy's and Joe's in this case.

We definitely CAN win this game, and if we do it'll be a big boost to our guys. We need this win pretty badly for the program as a whole, nevermind our bowl hopes.
Hopefully we got some shite worked out during the bye and our guys were worked extra hard. The strategic and personnel advantages you get after coming off a bye are intangible, I just hope our coaches took advantage.
I won't say we WILL win, but we can. I'll doubt it until I see it though.

Man, you guys deserve some props for finding a way to still be engaged with this football team. I can't frickin do it anymore. I can't even jokingly predict the Hogs to win games anymore. Can we win? Probably. Will we? I highly doubt it. I don't care how bad Kentucky is right now, this Razorbacks squad is fricking terrible. And they're shooting for their first conference win on the road? 
I'll believe it when I see it. Counting down the days til basketball season.

I somewhat agree. I really want a win obviously. I just don’t agree with people who state that UKs QB is a WR and has been terrible so far. It doesn’t even matter who is playing QB against us at all. A 3rd string high school QB has the potential to light us up. And likely would.

I agree 100%. This team/program is liquid squirts and I don't see a P5 win until 2021. Bring on the MussBus.

Speaking of this. I am at the park with my daughter, and I'm currently cramping with no bathroom around. This is how I feel about hog football currently in a microcosm. Nothing about the situation is good, and relief seems like a distant unreachable place.

coaching should show this week one way or another. very much like it shows coming out of a timeout or as we get into crunch time. the other opportunities to highlight coaching havent gone well hopefully this week is different

This is the one chance we will have where our qb play will be vastly better than theirs, and our defenses match up well. We might be able to pull this one off.
