I think it really kicks up the desire to win it all this year. We could look back on this as the last year things were as they were.
And we have Florida, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Alabama going to the end of the season battling it out. Titan vs Titan!
Should be a fun couple of months.

Now we could have just given Cam $180,000 out in the open.

There is zero doubt that Cam would have been doing commercials for Cane Bros Farms. $180K sounds like a good starting salary

people slamming California have probably never been there. San Diego is as nice as any City in America.

There is 1 nice city out of the 482 municipalities in California. That sounds about right.

They just listen to the idiots on TV telling them it's a hell hole, when it's not.

It's awesome. Doesn't change the fact that they govern like a bunch of morons

Uh, no. Players have no shot at the NFL without playing for a NCAA school. And they know this.

So you're saying that the NCAA - with no players - would be more successful?

Explain how that would work for me...

If it wasn't so expensive to live there I'd live in California 99/100 times over Georgia and I actually like it here in Atlanta. The rest of the state might as well not exist to most. Let's not even compare the rest of the Deep South. Not worth the trouble.

Don't see what this has to do with CFB but just thought I'd add.

The only reason I live in MS over CA is the cost of living. It kicks our arse in every other way. Sorry if this offends.
California is a fantastic state, and the people there do everything they can to make it worse

College football is a fantastic product, now that California is involved they will do everything in their power to make it worse

Not as it currently stands. Once it starts to unravel the NFL will step in and make sure of two things:

1. The young talent will still get developed
2. All of that TV money will not just go away
Bingo.

I feel like the same people who think this is going to ruin college sports are the same people who thought people would start getting married to horses when we legalized gay marriage.

Well it did cause the state of Alabama to stop requiring or issuing marriage licenses, so technically anyone can marry anyone or multiple anyones or anythings they want.

It was gone the day Saban met the REC. The recruits see them getting paid and flashing it around and they want paid. It's the only end around to the NCAA's favoritism.

Not requiring a marriage license is groundbreaking. They don’t even realize the implications yet. If I lived in AL, I technically could marry 3 women and the state couldn’t do anything about it.
