lol asked him "how'd he get out of Ohio?"
Cowherd doesn't follow CFB like he says he does imo.

I do not understand why anyone listens to that guy.

How many radio sportscasters truly know anything? Most just spout off opinions to rile people up. Finebaum perfected this model.

This is true. To be honest I don't actually listen to any of them anymore and the only time I turn on the TV is to watch the actual games.
Have been doing that a few years now and don't miss all the false narratives at all.
The tipping point was even after multiple years of Kiffin and such, one "expert" still referred to Alabama as "power running team" that would "struggle to put points on the board".

Yeah for someone who has pumped up LSU in the past this was a bad look. He was CUMs damn player.

Literally the only time/reason to tune in.
Occasionally Cowherd gets some stuff right, but most of the time Klatt just gives him those "WTF" looks before interjecting.

Yea watched this last week and Urban tried so hard to not jump in and call him a moron when he asked how he got out of Ohio. Kid did everything asked of him at OSU for 3 years and graduated. He lost out to a guy who was a first rounder and transferred to another damn good program that needed a QB.
I feel like most people who follow CFB at all know he transferred?

Professionally looks bad. As a sports fan, Colin has said multiple times, "I'm a hockey fan."

Holy Christ
Of all people to ask that question to, Meyer. What a dumbass.

Cowherd has no more knowledge of the game than any other average fan (probably less than the fans on tRant). He’s got a radio show and knows how to get views though.
It’s an easy formula (Finebaum does the same thing): Bring up a topic such as “best offenses in football”. List top three in country, but pick a particular school (usually one with a diehard fanbase) to leave off the list. Somebody from that fanbase who happens to be listening gets pissed and posts a link to the video clip on their team’s message board “this idiot didn’t include us on — list” Other fans click on the link, he gets the clicks then generates revenue.
Example: “Joel, the top three offenses in the country right now in my opinion are Ohio State, Alabama, and Oklahoma. It’s their world and everybody else is just trying to keep up.” (Intentionally leaves LSU off the list as the hook).
Or (actual example):
“Joel, Bama just isn’t the dominant program it once was. The dynasty is over, they have a Nick Saban problem. He can’t adjust to modern football and they are in trouble. Gus Malzahn owns Nick Saban because he’s innovative and Saban can’t adapt.” (Obvious Bama plus Auburn fan hooks).
It’s the verbal equivalent of clickbait, and it works.

Except that Joel Klatt is an SEC-trolling clown.
