Bryce Young, 4/5 star QB from Mater Dei and current USC commit, trending to Alabama

CBs to Alabama from Hank South (BOL) and Steve Wiltfong (247 Director Recruiting) today. Greg Biggins, the poobah of West Coast recruiting, thinks that it probably happens soon as well, though isn't quite ready for a CB.
Young is a 247 5-star and the #1 Dual QB, #10 player nationally (4-star Composite, #36 nationally, #2 Dual QB).
Obviously would be a huge pick up to go along with Drake Maye already committed in 2021.

Any concerns that it might shift the security in that commitment? Feels like QB recruiting is a constant musical chairs game.

Yes Mac is definitely the heir apparent. He has looked good against the situations he’s played against but who really knows until you’ve got a legit DL in your face. Tua has proven he can face that. MJ has the tools but we will have to see.

Im not sure there is a single team in the country with 2 composite 5* QBs on the roster.
Nobody really stacks those guys.

Well not on the team but 5 star recruits OU has two spaced out we are not taking a 2020 qb.Spencer and Vandergriff, and I know for sure there will be a 5 star qb in 2023... Might have three

Stacking 5* QBs is one thing, keeping them once on campus together- is another.
