The most upset I've been over a football game was the loss to Alabama in the 2009 title game. I thought Texas would've won with McCoy playing all game and felt cheated.
After the game, I got in my rental car, stopped at a gas station off Foothill Blvd. and got some beer, then drove up to Mt. Wilson in the San Gabriels and let the pain wash over me.
Now laugh.

I've never cried in frustration. I'll bawl like a bitch if Arkansas ever wins a national championship, and there's not a goddamn thing anyone can say or do to make me ashamed of it.

I had some tears in the eyes when Lattimore got injured for the second time against Tenn. The whole stadium did.

Was gonna say the same.

My favorite non-Arkansas player of my lifetime. I wished that man nothing but runaway success.

Do fans seriously cry over football?
Army had lost to Navy 14 years in a row. All through our current combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Not ashamed of how I felt when that streak finally came to an end.

Y’all would’ve blown them out. They were done until Colt got hurt.

Younger fans do. I've noticed as I've gotten older and added more responsibilities in life that the results of football games do not affect my day to day life like they did when I was a teenager/early 20s.

Hasn't happened to me with a college (LSU) game yet; when I was young (80's) it was a badge of honor for LSU to play an elite team to the wire, even if they lost.
Pro's (Saints):
going back to early 80's, the Saints would have made the playoffs for the first time ever if they beat the Rams in the final game. Had a late lead, Rams trying to get into FG range, Vince Ferragamo floated a duck that Johnnie Poe could have fair-caught like a punt. Poe dropped it
Next pass got them inside the 30, and they made the kick.
I cried.
Saints vs Minnesota 2017, I was just stunned by the last second loss, shook my head and laughed at the absurdity. My son lost his mind and was about to break most of the living room furniture, and when I told him "hey settle down" I thought he was going to kill me for a moment. Definitely tears in his eyes.
Luckily, I was working last year when the no-call happened.
It's a tradeoff; if you're too cool or mature, or whatever, to cry over a loss, then you're not going to get the same magnitude of joy with a win.

I get really angry for a couple hours and rant about it on here, then I’m usually good
Crying over a sport is lame, exception being if you’re playing of course

I too cried in my last high school game. We won, but i kept thinking to myself, this is the last time you’ll ever suit up. The last time you’ll wear a mouthpiece.

Like I said in the other thread, I haven't cried over a loss since I was in elementary school. I couldn't really imagine doing it as a grown man.
I will say that I do stop watching college football for the day when UGA loses mainly to avoid seeing the highlights during other games. I'll go to the movies and not really watch or read any CFB content until about the next Wednesday or so.
Never cried over a sporting event. However I do the exact same thing when Alabama loses. I lose interest in the rest of the football for that day, and do not read newspapers, or go on line to posting sites for a few days. Thank goodness those days are rare...

I love the sport and follow it closely. But do any of you admittedly cry over it? I have never cried over a game. I have been pissed, cussed at the game, chugged some beers over it. But crying? Just asinine reading some of the threads on here. I thought crying qas reserved for special moments in life (good or bad). Not over a damn game.
Is this even a serious question? Have you ever listened to Pawwl Finebaum after a Bama loss?

When your team blows a 28-3 in the SB, you will cry.

I cried when I lost in high school once in Senior year..but I was playing not a fan.
I did have a very drunk cry after the 07 LSU game apparently. I dont remember it but I was reminded of it for a long time.
