In no particular order- and not worried about all the dated and regional lyrics- just from the perspective of how they sound in a stadium, I’d go with :

Tennessee
LSU
Auburn
Alabama
Texas A&M

Tennessee is the most hated. It just grinds on people. But I like it. LSU and Alabama are just classic perfection. Auburn is my personal favorite ( besides my beloved LSU of course)- I find it gets stuck in my head every year after we wax Auburn. And ya gotta give it up for Aggie here, that whole military flavor is incredibly stirring. Aggie’s is the shiznit. Florida and Ole Miss you just missed the cut and are in the conversation. The rest of you should be embarrassed.

How would you rank them ?

You’re not a college football fan if you don’t hate Tennessee’s fight song.

Mississippi State's is very carnival, but the lyrics are great.

I like LSU's the most. Best pregame fanfare of all of them.

Lol, a common sentiment. But you have to admit, it fits them and it is iconic.

Old fight songs are cool.

Now lets talk about songs that make you want to fight. USC/Sandstorm
LSU/Neck
WVU/Country Roads
FL/Tom Petty

The above listed songs gets a baw 10 foot tall and bulletproof

Old school I think the Arkansas fight song for basketball games was the bomb. Then they stopped us from running around the head ref during timeouts after someone clipped him with a tuba.

I would go the Vols, then LSU, and then the rest of the conference is pretty well tied. If the team is hot then the fight song is hot. Other wise... meh.

LSU Fight Song

“Fight For LSU”:

Like Knights of old, Let’s fight to hold
The glory of the Purple and Gold.
Let’s carry through, Let’s die or do
To win the game for dear old LSU.
Keep trying for that high score;
Come on and fight,
We want some more, some more.
Come on you Tigers, Fight! Fight! Fight!
for dear old L-S-U.
RAH!

I don't think that's what you're thinking of.

Georgia's fight song is just Auburn's alternate with an extra letter squeezed in.

Both of your fight songs are just the Yankee war hymn (and the Colorado fight song).

I think Glory to Ole Georgia is a great tune, but it has always struck me as strange that UGA's fight song is the song that Sherman played as he burned the state to the ground.

I like all of them, but especially:
Aggie Way Hymn
Rocky Top
Yea Alabama (have to admit the tune is a little catchy :)
