Kellogg's did a great job with that pop-tart mascot. At the end of the game, it went into a "toaster" and a giant edible pop-tart came out of the "toaster" for the winning team to eat

To be fair, their schedule was also backloaded. They didn’t play anyone with a pulse until the last few games.
That said, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Michigan suddenly became a perennial playoff contender at the same time the guy joined the staff.

They played Penn State and Ohio State. That was their schedule. Iowa in the Big Ten championship game was pathetic. Iowa has the worst offense in football.

That dude has a very promising future. With Steele and Bala in the booth, he's been THE guy on the sidelines, along with Saban, communicating with the defensive players. IMO, if we don't make him our DC soon, another team will.

I really believe that Steele was brought in as someone to oversee the defense. I believe that he and T Rob have been working together and T Rob will be named DC at some point. We can’t afford to lose him.

Definitely agree. Seems like it'd make sense to give Steele an "Assistant HC" title next year and make TRob the DC.
