We'll never win another natty. That was Satan's price for Herschel.

The town of Athens jumped the shark years ago and is now a parody of itself. It's basically a suburban ATL slash theme-park version of a college town.

The fraternities and sororities on Milledge would be much better on Lumpkin where they used to be (currently occupied by new Bolton)

We're the most underachieving program in college football

Not sure if it’s unpopular or not, but our pregame experience is garbage compared to a lot of other schools.

The black uniforms are gimmicky fake juice.

Oooohhh....Black is so cool...because it’s edgy and dangerous...because yknow...it’s black.

Some random thoughts:

The UGA student experience peaked in the early 2000’s. Athens is a corporate shell of what it was 15 years ago. UGAAD has been mismanaged since Dooley was forced out (no more Kudzu Hill - eff everyone of all y’all who made that decision).

UGA’s history in major men’s sports is best described as underachieving. Worst described as embarrassing.

The St. Simons and Crown crowd needsa ride on off into the sunset.

Chaney will be missed. Mel too.

2019 ain’t the year.

If we don't win the natty in 2019, we have a huge reload in 2020 that we may not win the East
(Losing both tackles, 2 guards, 3 year starter QB, top RB. Defense will have to carry us, and I don't remember when defense was good enough to dominate sub 10 ppg).

These are suppose to be unpopular opinions, but almost every post has more upvotes than downvotes.

Far out.

Our AD was run by morons since the 80s. Thank God a legacy found his way home and has us operating at the proper level in football.

As it pertains basketball, wtf! We are in the outskirts of Atlanta and have sucked since harrick.

Even though I don't always agree with law enforcement in Athens (or anywhere else), I'm glad that, unlike quite a few college towns in the SEC, they don't give UGA athletes favorable treatment.

Mark Richt was a good football coach. Kirby Smart is good as well.

The Grill is Athens’ best, most authentic restaurant. Everything else is full of pose.

Erk shot UGA down when Dooley retired and the girls in Statesboro are hotter.

There’s only one restaurant worth being called The Varsity. It’s on the corner of North Avenue and Spring Street in Atlanta.

Tech belongs in the SEC.

ETA some observations about the SEC and college sports in general:

ESPN’s Saturday night games in the late 1990’s with Ron Franklin, Jerry Punch, and Adrian Karsten were the pinnacle of SEC football.

Auburn has done more with less than any school in the SEC. Their fans are a 40/60 mix of the best people in the world and north Atlanta, one-upper, insecure justification kids who left Alpharetta in a Civic and came home In a Z71 with an Old Row sticker. Ditto Clemson. UGA should be fricking ASHAMED at both’s successes.

Gary is smarter and knows more about football than 99% of SEC viewers.

LSU fans aren’t that far off about the conference being in Birmingham.

Missouri brings less than nothing to the SEC and killing regional rivalries and regional conferences will kill college sports. I like ATM and Arky and they fit in fine. But they need to be in a conference with Texas, Rice, TTU, SMU, Baylor, and Houston. Ditto all other conference changes.

College football, as we’ve known it, has less than 20 years left to exist.

Justin Fields is a bust and I don’t wish him the best.

If we don’t win a natty this year or the next then I will begin being highly critical.

David Pollack doesn’t know how to dress himself (is this unpopular?)
