Funny that Slayton is drafted and Davis isn’t

I’m not an NFL GM.

Davis has better hands right now, but neither is a Megatron, Julio, A.J. Greene, prototypical #1 WR.

I wish both guys the best. A slot guy with good hands can keep a job.

Someone at SB Nations draft team is drinking the Auburn Koolaid. They have both Derrick Brown and Nick Coe as top 10 picks next year

It's definitely possible but having both is surprising. Especially since Coe isn't super flashy / well known

Coe would have to have a monster year. More likely second or third round

Kiper has Brown at #5 on the early Big Board. I can see Coe break the first round but I don't know about top 10.

Here are some things summed up from Justin Ferguson on the 2020 draft.

DE Marlon Davidson, Sr. Has potential to move up the draft boards but needs to be more productive in the pass rush.

DE Nick Coe, R-Jr. Could be the best pro of all AU's defensive lineman. Led the team in sacks and 2nd in TFL as a first time starter last year. Also, scouts are going to like that he's a former national championship wrestler. If everything clicks he could join the first round.

OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Sr. Had the best pass protection grade in the entire SEC last year. The #2 pass protector went at #11 in the 2019 draft. Has a high ceiling.

Those are his top 4. He's got 15 other guys reviewed as well if you want to check out The Atlantic. Our D-line could have 3 in the in the 1-2 rounds in 2020.

Seems like significantly more emphasis on things like "bend" "flexibility" and "hand placement" in draft profiles

Coe also has some very attractive positional flexibility from DE/DT to maybe even short yardage OLB

Really interesting rumor that Malik Dunbar supposedly getting some NFL tryout interest as a TE

There is quite a few NFL TEs who were converted CBB players

- Antonio Gates
- Jimmy Graham
- Darren Fells
- Mo Alie Cox
- Rico Gathers

Todd McShay has Nick Coe as the #19 pick in his earlymock. Seems like the Nick Coe RD1 hype is real

McShay though is a moron though. He not only has RBs in the top 25 picks, he has the Lions snagging one while acknowledging KJ is there and great
