Any other fanbases think LSU fans are nuts for their obsession with Will Wade?

He is the reason for all of this chaos, yet LSU fans are so entrenched with him. He got players there and had a successful season, but its not like he was sent from the basketball gods here.
Why?
And also,
if Wade was at your school, who would you feel is in the wrong here? Wade or the AD/University?
Personally I feel like a potato is smarter than the LSU fans that support him.

2 years ago LSU won 2 games in conference and 10 overall. We have only been to the tournament once since '09 when he was hired. Wade brought a conference championship in year 2 and you're wondering why fans love him. He's a fiery, very detailed young coach that is very likeable. The potato here may just be you.

I really don't mind good trash talk, but most of the stuff people try to say about LSU and Wade on here seems like a 10 year old thought of it.

Why is Will Wade being shady on phone calls with other shady people?

If he didnt do anything wrong, why hasnt he talked to his bosses?

Because if he does so, then the defense could also subpoena anyone he talks to. It's a good thing for everyone that he isn't talking to them. Plus, let's face it, he did do something wrong. I just don't care because in order to win championships you have to cheat. Our football program has been doing it for years and so has yours. You think Nolan Richardson won all of those games without giving players extra benefits?

Yeah I'm kinds neutral on it. I think it's dumb when people shite talk and don't get their facts straight, but that's the only thing that "bothers" me. Yesterday, a guy referred to LSU's players as the hired help and I thought that was just gold. I laughed for a good while about that comment.

It is odd that they're defending an obvious cheater.
My guess is that hope that the NCAA somehow doesn't punish LSU.
But we know they'll turn on Will Wade the moment they receive punishment for all of this.
