What the FBI knows is statements made by Will Wade. 'Get you what you need' could mean anything.
Bottom Line: It's not what the FBI knows, it's what they can prove. More recent example is: Cam Newton to Auburn. Don't recall anything ever coming out of that even, though we all know Cam was going to play for the highest bidder. Knowing and proving - big difference between the two. Hell, Will Wade could claim 'I don't recall' on every question asked - now the burden of proof falls back to the accuser.

FBI is not going after Wade.
However, they do seem to be going hard after the agent(s) and I would imagine the agent's lawyer will try to make everyone else involved look as dirty as possible.
The risk for Wade is that he is under oath and what he says and others say may end up getting him in trouble not with the FBI but with the NCAA.

Testify against Dawkins? That assumes that Dawkins hasn't made a deal with the feds. Also, how is Wade going to prove anything? Receipts of payments made to Dawkins?

Exactly... Context is everything, and all we have is a blurb or an extremely short conversation. "I can get what you need" could refer to the full scholarship that was offered. Prove me wrong.

Again, the FBI doesn't give a rats arse about visits or NCAA violations. The FBI would not care if Will Wade wrote the kid a check from his personal account.

You don't get warned that you are getting a subpoena for a federal case just for shits and giggles. WW may very well not be in the crosshairs, he could easily be just a witness. But this is far from a big nothing
