Your thoughts?

if he brings his DC with him, lets get the ball rolling.

Absolutely. He had it locked up before tonight. If he wants it, it’s his job.

My personal belief is that Bama is the only team he would leave Clemson for. I believe he is the first phone call when Saban does retire. Not sure if he'll take the job with the pressure of following Saban though

He’s not coming here. He can win 20 titles at Clemson.

He’s not leaving Clemson. He has zero reason to leave now.

I agree he’s not coming. That ship has sailed.

Dabo ain’t coming to Bama

If he isn't the first person Bama contacts, there's something seriously wrong. Besides him and Saban, there are no great coaches currently. Anyone who wants Jimbo is a brainlet

It would take 15 million.

I wouldn't leave if I were Dabo.

Let’s see...
1) Stay at Clemson, where you built the brand that it is today, have won 2 NC’s in 3 years. Have permanent job security barring a complete collapse or moral failure.
2) Come to Alabama to follow one of the greatest coaches in CFB history, immense and at times unreasonable expectations, constant shadow of not 1 but 2 legendary coaches. Anything less than 10 win seasons and you’re gone.
Which would you choose? I’d love it if Dabo came to Bama when Saban retires/leaves, but I don’t see it happening.

He secured it LONG ago. It's unlikely that he will want it.

Based on his postgame comments I think it’s unlikely that he will come here. frick him too

Only his love for Alabama could make the difference and I’m not sure that’s enough. When the day comes and we make that phone call, Dabo will pray about it but I agree with y’all, unless he is led to leave by his heart, he’s built a legacy and dynasty that’s his and his alone at Clemson. Why leave that?

I wouldn't mind it but I find the notion of paying this man ten million plus to be ridiculous. If Kitchens doesn't land an NFL he gig, he's one to look at.
Now watch our next hc be some mt. Union alum

Even if Dabo turns it down, it would be worth it making Clemson pay thru the nose for him.
Too many of u cats forget about that angle. Give me a good ole boy from Ohio, that state produces coaches.

Dabo loves Alabama. He’s an Alabama alum. He won a NC as a Bama player. His family and his roots are in Alabama. And he’s not scared of following Saban. He’s beaten Saban TWICE for all the marbles.
He WILL come if asked and if the money is right- which is not a big thing.
The reason he won’t come is that by the time Saban retires in 7 years or more, Dabo won’t be on top, anymore, and will have passed his prime and we will probably have a new name at the top of our list.
Nothing against Dabo. He has his own dynasty going on. I’d LOVE to have him as HC, but the timing isn’t going to work, I don’t think.
I’d love to be wrong and when Saban does retire, Dabo is still the 2nd best coach in all of football.
