After reading the AU recruiting thread, I don’t see how we keep him. Good luck to whoever gets him - Bama would be my guess.

I'd be surprised if Bama offered him a LOI unless he improves his grades. I'd sure love to have him, though.

There's been talk on the LSU recruiting board a flip to LSU has been in the works for a while. Has visited LSU quite a bit.

Was going to ask about that. I thought I'd read that his grades were going to make him a strong non-qualifier risk?

His grades are bad, but we are talking about Hoover. They will find a way to get him eligible, if there is one.

Seems like Metchie is the only WR we are taking this year. But I'm sure we're still recruiting Pickens as a contingency. Very talented guy. I worry about him ever being able to separate from college DBs, but he has a great frame and good ball skills.

Alabama is probably done at WR with John Metchie. Will look to load up in 2020.

LSU's been pushing for him for the past few months but I never thought there was a real chance we could land him.

LSU is pushing hard, Thai. We want him for sure. Also, not sure what the "Thai" means, but I just spent three weeks in Thailand and was really, really impressed with the Thai people. Just wonderful, happy, friendly people all day every day. I will definitely return if I can.

Clear way AU can keep him. He's very close with Gus, Kodi & Bo. He's far from solid but also would not be shocking if he stuck. Long ways still to go

We are. Will need to get him on campus.
