Without Anti-Alabama goggles on. Who should win the Heisman

Who do y'all believe should win the Heisman? Wish I knew how to do a true poll on here. But with what everybody has seen this year, who do you have?

Without those goggles, I say Tua.

I really believe all 3 are very deserving. I don’t think you could justify being angry over who won, other than you being a fan of the team they play for. Virtually indistinguishable by the numbers. You can make arguments for each of them.

Murray. Tua’s last game lost it for him IMO.

Tua, but Murray will win.

Murray and Haskins mean a lot more to their teams than Tua does to Bama. If voters didn't send their votes in before conference championship games then I think Murray will win. All three are deserving I just think Tua means less to Bama than Murray and Haskins mean to Oklahoma and Ohio State.

Without caring about the Heisman, and the stats, and the hype and politics, all I can say is if I were doing a draft of current college players and had to pick a QB I'd pick Tua #1 no question.
Murray is a great athlete and a great player, taking nothing away from him, but Tua is the better all around QB.

Murray wins it.
Hurts lost the Heisman for Tua. The "well, if player x wasn't in the game, how would the team fare"?..........we saw what would happen. Not to mention, Tua had a horrible game up until that point. Murray played a fantastic game.

Did you know that Tua's surgery was on the ankle he hurt on the first drive? He played the entire game on a high ankle sprain. He's one tough kid. I think it's very unfair to judge him on this game alone but these fickle voters will. I think his Heisman will come next year.

Exactly he was a lock for the Heisman before the game, he hurt his ankle on the first series and played injured, the injury certainly contributed to poor play, and it might cost him the award. However, if he had left the game and not played the narrative would have been, you can't hold it against him because he got hurt. Does not make sense.

If you got his nuts off your chin you could tell the high ankle sprain is what took him out later in the game. With that said all three are deserving but I would vote for Tua.

Oh what the frick ever. All these Bama fans on here the past several weeks saying their QB is the shite even with an injured knee. Now his ankle caused him to play poorly? Cry me a river.

I believe Murray wins. I think Tua not playing in 4th quarters hurts him and the SECCG performance does as well.
Give OU the Heisman. I’ll take a National championship.

If Tua had been healthy when Alabama played the SECCG, then UGA gets blown off the field. Tua is a tough kid and played through the pain for several weeks. Even in those games, the injuries affected him. Yet Alabama won every game he played in.
Did Fromm win every game for UGA? I do not believe he has been injured this year....

I wouldn’t take any of the 3 #1.

That’s a spot on assessment.

I suspect that Murray will get the votes due to the final game spotlight, but I truly believe Tua is the best of the bunch.
There is no doubt that
1) Tua played a fraction of the time in games compared to Murray and Haskins... over the season, they probably both averages across the board another 90-100 minutes worth of game time. Basically, Murray and Haskins had the equivalent of another game or two over the season to pad their stats. Example - Tua is NINTH in the *SEC*, not even nationally, in the number of pass attempts per game.
2) Tua's numbers came against tougher opponents. The overall strength of schedules are about the same for the three teams but Alabama played far more top defenses. Ohio St only played Michigan. Oklahoma played... TCU? Bama played LSU, Miss St, Auburn, and Georgia, all top 25 defenses. Maybe I'm missing somebody obvious?
Again, you could make valid arguments for all three Heisman hopefuls. But these two points would be my argument.

Tua didn’t do anything to help himself the last weekend before th3 vote. Kyler Murray did. Saw a program over the weekend that only 10% of Heisman voters had voted before Saturday. That doesn’t bode well after Saturday for Tua.
I don’t like Murray personally but I would give him the edge if I had a vote. Close though.

Apparently you can't read. The injury to his right ankle late in the 3rd Qtr is why he came out but the surgery was to his left ankle. That's the one with the high ankle sprain. He played most of the game with that injury.
