The genesis - 2008, preseason #1 ranked Georgia hosts #8 ranked Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide in their "Blackout" game. Future #1 overall pick Matthew Stafford, future first rounder AJ Green, future first rounder Knowshon Moreno, and future second rounder Mohommad Massaqui lead the most talented offense in the country. Incredibly, and inexplicably, Alabama storms out to a 31-0 half time lead, and totally destroys the Georgia football program, forever cursed with the choking gene....

If they don't lose to a 4 loss UT team in 07 then they probably win the SEC and BCSCG. They were the best team at years end.

I'm surprised an Auburn fan can type the word "blackout" without having nightmares of that 2007 butt kicking the tiggers took at Sanford Stadium. Most fun I've ever had at a football game.

Auburn bought them a MNC with cam. Otherwise they are pretty much shite and horribly inconsistent. Couldn’t even cash in on the two most incredibly lucky plays in college football.
