We got around this by having a team this year but calling it a "club." Beat Clemson last night 6-2. Not the same as a sanctioned sport but still just as fun to watch.

Wrestling... with title belts. Could you imagine the fun we’d have with backstage interviews, chair shots, valets, etc? Would be awesome.

Every school in the SEC does this. The SECHC actually has a pretty good tournament every year, too. It's come a long way since I played on it in the early 2000s.
When the Inferno were still in town, Carolina even had our games on campus in the Coliseum.

College boxing would be fun.

It’s wrestling. Absolutely ridiculous that we don’t have it.
No research to back it up, but it can’t be a very expensive sport to support. I’m hoping with the rise in youth/high school girls wrestling, that the SEC will start adding programs soon.

I don't like that e-sports are a thing. As an afficianado of both traditional sports and video games, I think e-sports are bad for both.
But they are the right answer to this question.

1. Hockey. Imagine the melts (pun intended) from the B1G if the SEC became good at hockey, too)
2. Men's soccer. Say what you want about the sport, but it really is a worldwide sport and it does have it's share of incredibly good athletes.
3. Men's and women's triathlons. The collegiate triathlon championships have been held in Tuscaloosa a few times and it always seems like a good time for the participating schools. But I don't see many from the SEC. Mostly West Coast schools. If the Universities got involved promoting it and sanctioning it, it would be a big plus for this area of the country.
