They sure are quiet right now compared to when we lost to Kentucky a few weeks ago.

Yeah, they loved kicking other programs while they were down. The shoe is on the other foot now.

I was one of the fans who loved Dan. Still like him. That being said, I don’t think we have a bad coach now. I think he will get it worked out.

No I dont miss that prick at all. Did we make the right hire in Moorhead, it appears not but I was tired of his shite every year. Hope he does well in Gainesville but he was ready to go and I was ready for him to go.

With all that said Moorhead is an idiot. Presser he just mentioned about how he was building a program. He must have it real tough building a program that has won plenty of games over the last 10 years. Mullen built the program Moorhead is just burning it down with a quickness.

It was time for him to go. The jury is still out on our new coach. I'm giving him 2 years to get it together on the field and recruiting. His offense does seem a little more complex than a Tight End can handle playing quarterback.

Every fanbase thinks they hired the right coach. I guess that's why nobody is ever fired.

They appreciated him before he ditched them. They claimed time and time again he was the 2nd best coach in the SEC.

I would assume they'd wait and be jelly if/when he actually does something at Florida- not 5 games into the first season.

Son-in-law and big clanga fan: "I just burnt all my maroon in the fire pit and cooked hot dogs over it. Had to throw the hot dogs away cause they sucked as bad as our offense."

This is pretty common with new coaches coming in and changing culture and systems.

Kirby and Saban took over winning programs and went 6-6 their first years with terrible losses.

Just takes a year or two sometimes.

What are the odds that a program like Miss st. hires the two most successful coaches in program history back to back?

Meaning history says Moorehead will suck tremendously

Usually a Coach is hired somewhere where a 'rebuilding' is needed...I don't think the MSU program was in a 'Rebuilding' is needed..he inherited a team with a lot of experience and a large number of starters returning..He returned a QB that had played very well at the SEC level..a team many people were expecting a "breakout" year..On paper the Dawgs looked like a team ready to Bust some heads...who knows...I'm just happy my Tigers are exceeding expectations...

They fell off quickly! Way faster than I expected, their fans on here just about had me convinced they'd win 9-10 games this year and espn's shitty fpi had them going 11-1.

Now Im wondering if theyre going to start SEC play 0-6 this season before they play Arkansas and Ole Miss

We will have to see how November plays out. That never was a kind month to Mullen and was primarily a self-inflicted issue he created. If our offense is able to find some continuity and pick up on the new system and finish strong then I'll say no, we don't miss him a bit. If not, then I'll probably be wishing we were limping into a bowl game in December as we typically did under Mullen.

That being said, making a bowl is significant this year for the extra reps for the offense.
