All the new MSU fans are already tired of not winning...but the OG State fans are used to it. It’s been their life forever.

I think the current disconnect between State fans and Moorhead is over two things.
1. This year shouldn't be a rebuilding year (next year is a different story) given returning talent.
2. Lack of offensive adjustments looks Croomtastic and all suffered through that (ie auburn 3 state 2).
Had he come in next year I don't think there would be nearly the frustration from State fans.
All that being said, we were kinda tired of "big game Dan" (see @AU last year, @uga last year, Bama in almost every year etc). Where he doesn't give his teams a chance to win.

Kirby and Saban took over winning programs and went 6-6 their first years with terrible losses.
Just takes a year or two sometimes.
Those two are a little different. they were replacing coaches that were fired, not one that left for a better job and left behind a roster ready to win now.

If Dan turns out to be Saban 2.0, yes I guess. If he turns out to be just Dan Mullen , bad clock manager, run it through the middle til it works, f@ck no.
