AU loses regularly in JH. IMO, the reason some think it is a voodoo place is because of some of the odd things that happen in AU's favor there like vs UGA and Alabama in 2013. AU has had bad fortune their too, e.g., A&M in 2014.

That's not to say that they don't have an intense and fun atmosphere, they do. But their success in nothing like some think.

Here are AU's and LSU's home record vs P5 teams: (Should be close though I did this by hand.)

Last 3 years:
AU: 7-6 54%
LSU: 11-3 76%

Last 6 years:
AU: 15-12 56% (with one of the best and worst seasons in AU history)
LSU: 21-6 78%

Last 10 years:
AU: 26-18 59% (with 2 of the best and one of the worst seasons in AU history)
LSU: 34-10 77%

Bama is 3-2 in JH and 4-1 in TS in the last 10 years.

LSU routinely goes into JHS and shits their britches. Same goes for AU when they come to DV.

It's because of voodoo on those occasions.

I’ll say I haven’t been since 96 but it has a big time feel with the eagle and it’s loud.

A lot of the difficulty talk heated up big time last year when AU knocked off two #1's at JH.

“There are a lot of places that rock around the SEC, and there are a lot of places around this conference that hold noise and make you feel like your ear drums are about to explode. But it’s that way from the opening kickoff at Auburn and only picks up steam from there. I’ve been to just about all the stadiums in the league the last few years, and I say with confidence that Jordan-Hare Stadium is as consistently loud and electric throughout the game as any stadium I’ve been to, and I think it’s gotten even more intense this season.”

- Chris Low 2010

“I’m not sure there is a tougher place to play than at Auburn.”

Chris Low 2017

“As head coach at Florida, Spurrier lost at Auburn in 2001 when his team was ranked No. 1 and in 1993 when his team was ranked No. 4.

“Tough place to play,” Spurrier said”

LSU has had a more consistent team have they not? Wouldn't that skew the numbers?

Bama's numbers at Home probably look better than anybody's and I doubt you can find many people who thinks Bryant-Denny is more inimidating than JHS or Tiger Stadium

Has LSU gotten to a .500 winning % during day games there yet?

JH is a dump. The rest of the SEC is shocked at how fricking god awful their campus is. Makes the rest of us uncomfortable.

It’s honestly pathetic.
