Could the Vols receive the final death blow to the program this weekend?

No coach was more hated and disrespected by Vols fans that Randy Sanders. Vols of the early 2000s longed for Cutcliffe, and Randy never gave them that same meth high that Coach Cut gave them during the 90s. Sanders is Tennessee boy through and through from the hills of Morristown, a 4 year letterman and an alum. By 2002 the natives had the pitchforks out. Finally, a 5-6 season in 2005 gave them the ammunition to run Sanders off.

Saturday, Sanders returns to Knoxville with a hungry roster of East Tennessee's finest. Led by a son of Morristown, ETSU will march into Neyland Stadium with a roster of players from Ooltewah, Greeneville, Bristol, Elizabethton, Morristown, Kodak, Johnson City, Mosheim, Clinton, Maryville, Kingsport and Knoxville. True sons of East Tennessee.

Can Randy Sanders and his band of hill people give Rocky Top the final push off the top of Clingmans Dome and establish a new order in East Tennessee college football? Find out at 4 PM on SECN in what is sure to be the biggest game in college football this weekend. Going to be a lot of houses divided up and down the I-81 corridor!

IF they actually lose this game, I'm immediately betting on the UNDER for Pruitt's current 3.5 year line to be fired.

Why is there a pic of another teams stadium right behind Shannon at his presser?

That said, go Bucs!

Nice post, but it ain't gonna happen. Even a down, struggling UT is better than ETSU. Vols win big!

Didn't Fulmer help get the ETSU program re-started?

Not that it will happen, but how much of a dagger would that be to Vol faithful to see a program that was re-birthed by a former player/coach and now lead by a former player/coach come into Neyland and walk out with a W?

The overlap of ETSU/Tennessee people would cause thousands to spontaneously combust.
