I'm as Roll Tide as it gets but when Nick Saban bullied Maria Taylor after the Louisville Game it made me angry. Then Saban went to the postgame presser and threatened every media member in the press room. That pissed me off.

Saban is a bully. As a lifelong Alabama fan I've overlooked it as "part of his job" for Sabans entire career - but no more. Saban made the Quarterback controversy about him - and then he attacked anyone who questioned him about it. Everyone knows Saban is a bully now. He will get called out the next time he does it. If Saban does do it again it could end his career. Alabama and the SEC would come down on him with official discipline - a suspension would be in order.

I don't think we'll see Saban bullying any more reporters. He's too smart. Now he knows he overstepped his boundaries and the next time he does he'll pay a heavy price.

Just by this phrase, it's obvious you're not a Bama fan.

Good bait, though.

Saban could rape a busload of widowed grandmothers on the 50 at halftime and gump nation would claim they were asking for it and the school would defend him to the end.

Funny how it made you angrier than it did Maria. Maria did what Saban told her and quit asking the same question, went on with the interview, and hasn't commented on anything since. She doesn't need any of you or the ESPN clown college to defend her.

There's a lesson in there somewhere...

I disagree and I'm not even a Bama fan. The sports media is no different than the news media. Now, I'm not suggesting she was looking for a "shock" moment as others have done but Saban has a very tricky situation on his hands while just trying to focus on coaching.

To be honest, as someone with no dog in this hunt, he's been pounded over and over by the media trying to keep controversy going because some of them WANT to get a reaction even after he's tried to put it to bed.
It's nothing but a distraction for him and he lost his cool.

Looking back, he probably should have just said "We'll make decisions as we go, next question." But anyone who thinks that would not get her to ask again are wrong. It's what the media does.

The people whipping on Saban are people who hate the fact he wins so damn much. I'm not one of them.

I recall Dan Mullen having a melt down years back when he told the media during a presser that he did not discuss injuries. And what do you think happened? Every question was about injuries and Mullen walked off. That's what the media does and you could hear them laughing after they realized they got to Mullen. Most of them posted the video on twitter.

Oh, wait, you were serious?

This has to be an alter with too little self-control to resist trying to finally pounce! Sorry, dude, but the long con requires a lot more discipline than this.

He has little man syndrome and wants absolute control over the QB situation, even though by the very nature of the situation, he can't. His insecurity over this lead him to lash out and act childish. O well. He's just a grumpy old man.

You gumps and swamp kittens view him as some sort of deity so shite like this is a story to you. For the rest of us, it isn't. Saban being an insecure prick isn't news because there are tons of insecure pricks in the world.
