Manziel just might be the greatest adlibber in college football history. From what I understand, he didn't really know the playbook while he was at Texas A&M and overcame that deficiency through raw athletic talent. The achilles' heel of a Nick Saban defense is improvisation by the QB. Manziel was nothing but improvisation.

He’s still doing better than Manziel but McCarron has struggled so far in practice and may end up not starting.

I hate Manziel by all means but going off of stats will show it. Actually watching the game will show something completely different. His O-Line collapsed every play and he had to throw the ball within seconds every time.
Again, I hate the man but he is on the worst CFL team.
Plus the Bills are one of the worst teams in the NFL talent wise and would probably start Allen if they had Receivers and an offensive line. They don't want another Nathan Peterman.

People forget that Manziel was bailed out on many bad passes by his WRs at Texas A&M, specifically Ryan Swope and Mike Evans. Evans is a top NFL WR and Swope would likely be too if not for health issues.
The biggest travesty is that his WRs get not nearly enough credit for the accomplishments, because everyone kept giving Manziel credit for them bailing him out.
