Some of y'all need a chill pill. I felt that way about the reactions to Jalen's father's comments as well. Jalen's father is a coach and laid it all out there. He placed the onus on Jalen for losing his job. At the end of last season we knew Jalen was coming back because he graduates in December. And, we know Jalen is transferring out after this season. Jalen is all-class and will be a success after football.

I legit feel bad for Jalen
I know right? I mean, I LEGIT felt terrible for Gene Chizik. Y'all had been relegated to watching big brother climb to the top of the mountain over and over for like fifty years. Guy comes in, buys you a quarterback and takes you to the promised land and you turn on him like a pack of wild dogs.

Y'all legit should have kept Gene. Legit, bro, not because I enjoyed watching y'all lose.

Maybe he realizes the OL has not gotten any better and he will have to take another beating carrying the Offense.

Pretty much. No one feels sorry for Jalen.

All this sounds like that the first day of camp didn't go well for Jalen. Seems the team and coaches have chosen based on what they've seen. And this is Jalen being uncharacteristically emotional about it. Which is understandable. But no one has been unfair to Jalen. Just like no one was unfair to Blake Barnett, Cooper Bateman and David Cornwell when Jalen beat them out.
Only difference is they weren't emotional about it.

They were emotional about it as well. They were so emotional about it they left. Jalen, even though, he's 15 hours from graduating could've left after the season but he dropped his nuts and came back to finish his degree and endure the most trying season he's likely ever had because cameras will be panning to him on the sideline all season long.

Hurts is a good college QB. He just isn't an accurate passer. Tua does appear to be a better QB...............but it's hard to tell from the limited snaps he has gotten. Once SEC D's see him in action, things may change.

Jalen was the epitome of class in the second half of the NCG and afterward. I hope he can rein in his emotions and conduct himself the same way until December. Love Jalen, but he hasn’t improved in his reads and the passing game.

The best player should play, regardless of feelings.

And lol at Bowl for white knighting for Jalen. I’m sure he’s done the exact same thing to all of the JJs that roll through the plains.

These guys were like kids in a candy store 2 years ago with all of the practice reports of Jalen his freshman year. They were gushing over him. Now they trash him.

Bama at its finest.

Maybe one day LSU will have a serviceable QB so we can watch you all gush.

Hmmmmm I seem to recall a QB from 2011 that LSU fans shite on all the time but couldn’t help but want to call his number on the biggest stage.

No. Leaving is not an emotional act. It's more a professional one.

Jalen's emotional. I believe Cooper was the only one that gave an interview. He said that he and David Cornwall knew they had been beaten and decided to leave.
The complete opposite of emotional.

Go frick yourself.

Absolutely no one thinks his performance issues in any of those games were due to a lack of effort or focus. Are you seriously stupid enough to believe that Nick fricking Saban would tolerate a half-arse effort from anyone on the team, much less the quarterback?

How about you show some damn gratitude to a young man who's lost a total of two games as a starter, led the team to two national championship games, and showed incredible class and team spirit after being benched in the highest profile game of the year?

You're every stereotype of the spoiled, entitled Bama fan come to life.
