I don’t see why anyone feels sorry for Hurts.
Dude has been to 2 national championships, had everything he could ever need in Bama’s training facility to succeed, had plenty of huge highlight moments and positive press...I mean the list goes on.
It’s not like we are hating on a child of the poor here.

It was totally Jalen's fault when the center snapped the ball way past him two plays in a row.

In hindsight it would have been better for all if #2 had transferred at the end of May. It would have been nice to have him ready to play if #13 were injured in 2018. Go with Mack as the backup and solidify Tua's brother signing with Bama in Dec and move on.
That was as small of a Fan Day crowd as I have seen in the past 10 years. I left at 3:45 so I assume that a LOT of fans were waiting to enter once the practice was actually over. Roll Tide

And you still may be wrong. (1) Both need to stay healthy (2) Both need their parents to STFU (3) Both need to compete to the best of their ability (4) And one needs to "WIN THE TEAM" as Saban puts it. Then if the other hauls azz, more power to him.
