Jalen sounds like a beaten man

The first couple of days of camp must not have gone well. Maybe next time you don't show up a JHS not giving a damn. Maybe you show up in the NC game not giving a damn. Ms State and LSu games were jokes. To end it all, Stidham outplayed you 3 times and Bama fans won't forgive you not showing up in the Iron Bowl. Tua came in the NC game full of piss and vinegar and it made the team respond in a game we should have won going away. Jalen is getting comp from Mac as well which is giving him the "Mondays".

Bama fans make comments about Auburn fans will turn on Gus quickly, the middle aged man we pay a lot of money to, but the 180 y'all have done on Hurts, a college kid, has just been shitty to watch

sounds like tua has ALREADY --won the team-- jalen sounds like he has ALREADY thrown in the towel......the best player plays......end of story.....

Not a good look for Jalen. Implied Saban didn't listen to him. Sounds like Averion is in his head.

Sounds like he was lead on until it was too late for him to transfer and play this year.. I’d be pretty pissed and upset too if I were him.

i am not sure now if he shouldnt be suspended by coach saban for this conduct......before it spreads to OTHER members of the team.....nip it in the bud, PLEASE....

We'll take a Barner's opinion under advisement. I don't think Jalen has been treated poorly. He's just not the best player. I'm sure you'd rather we keep him and lose Tua.
I don't know why things seem to go backwards for him, but they did. Maybe it was the pressure. Maybe the change in coaching. Yes we won a lot of games with Jalen. But the better teams--including the barn--could game plan around him and we had no other answers when that happened.

Absolutely no one thinks his performance issues in any of those games were due to a lack of effort or focus. Are you seriously stupid enough to believe that Nick fricking Saban would tolerate a half-arse effort from anyone on the team, much less the quarterback?
How about you show some damn gratitude to a young man who's lost a total of two games as a starter, led the team to two national championship games, and showed incredible class and team spirit after being benched in the highest profile game of the year?
You're every stereotype of the spoiled, entitled Bama fan come to life.

How exactly was he going to transfer and play this year
He doesn't graduate until December.

Got nothing but love for Jalen. That being said his dad opening his fat mouth to the media this summer did him no favors. Jalen following dads lead isn’t doing him any favors either. If there was any doubt, let it all be erased. Tua is QB1. Jalen will play in 4 games, red shirt, graduate in December and transfer. I hope we can find a role for Jalen in this offense but once you start spouting off in the media, you’ve conceded the starting job.
