I am deaf and the SEC media days on t.v. is not closed caption! The Big 12 media days is closed caption. That is too bad Missouri is no longer there and it is frustrated for me. I guess not enough deaf people watch and support the SEC.

I feel for you, yeah that is an issue that needs to be addressed. You should have had that option.

Not to be rude, but if you are deaf, isn't there equipment or features on televisions that have that option? I'm unsure, so asking lol.

Are you on twitter? Beat writers and others in the media basically tweet the highlights during the coaches/players media day time at the podium. I'm sure they will have full recaps this afternoon/evening for todays schools.

That’s pretty surprising. Especially since most other shows/sporting events on ESPN are CC.

Could shoot them an email and see what kind of response you get.

I've found that they'll sometimes have the CC on or off depending on if you're viewing the HD or standard definition broadcast feed of a certain station or if you do an online feed from another station that is covering. I don't know if that's the case here but it should be in CC on all broadcasts regardless

Lefty, Im going to make a call and get this fixed. I can’t promise it will be fixed this year but next year’s media days will have the feature.

I think it's because they couldn't find a stenographer that could translate what Coach O was saying, so they just didn't hire one.

That sucks. There's no way I would have thought that something like SEC Media Days wouldn't have closed caption in this day and age. Can't say they don't have the money to do it.
