FSU Miami UF recruiting

None of UF's commits have been offered by all three schools.

That would leave a mark, if it wasn't... you know... June 30.

It doesn’t get much better come signing day. He’ll finish with a 20-25th class, which was good at State, but Florida ain’t putting up with that shite.

And you all may not have noticed, but UF, unlike MSU and UGA, doesn't put up long with coaches that don't produce titles. Hell, McElwain won his division twice in 3 years and they ran his arse off, and if you think it was because of some supposed threats then you are very naive.

Mullen will produce at UF, or he won't be around for long. UF is like Alabama in that respect, and it's not a coincidence that since there has been a title game, Alabama and UF have won more SEC titles than any other team.

His recruiting philosophy is different than most. I wouldn't make much of this at this point. He can make good players out of kids no one wants but if he can't get higher rated kids at Florida than he did at State then yeah, it's not his recruiting philosophy but he just sucks at recruiting. I wouldn't throw in the towel at this point.

Just fwiw, I think y’all are ranked higher in recruiting than we were at this point last year.

It can be concerning, but freaking out about recruiting more than 6 months before signing day is so dumb.

Maybe you should take your fascination with high school kids to the proper board.

It was because UF sucked arse with him all 3 years.

You act like winning the East actually means something.
He actually put division titles up in the Swamp too. Mullen took that shite down though as soon as he got here.

The early signing period has changed the game. It's leaving a mark.

Richt had a great season at Miami and Taggert has pretty deep ties in Florida recruiting. This isn't much of a surprise. Mullen is also pretty selective on who he goes after.

Mullen was hired by a Stricklin who knows its both their asses if Mullen doesn’t produce championships. Mullen can’t recruit to save his life. He is such an arrogant frick that he will likely tell any 4-5* that he doesn’t care who they are, they will not play ahead of an upper class man. How many highly rated players want to play at a school where they won’t see the field till they are juniors.

Yup, it doesn’t look good. We’ll see what he does about it. This won’t fly for very long.

As said Mullen will finish around 20-25. He will coach up what he has. That staff for all of their lack of recruiting does a pretty good job of developing players. It has made State into a consistent 7-9 win team. Will he get above that at UF is the question. If not he won't last long. 9-4 seasons gets you extensions at State, but it gets you canned at UF.

It’s the off-season. It’s not like this board is full of new posts on the first page.

This isn't news though. He gets rekt by any big time school that wants the recruit. But if he's recruiting against FIU, then he'll have a chance.
