2012 vs FAU. Classic cupcake easy-ticket first game but it was a night game so I had a blast. Enrolled the next fall

1971 versus Oregon State. I was 12. I still have the program. It was one of the greatest days in Bulldogs history for # 34. Records that still stand today.

Oregon State was like, "Hey,where did Buzy Rosenberg go"

2002 vs Ole Miss

I remember saying to my buddy that I thought Jennings could take one to the house if he jumped a route and it literally happened on the next play.

My first game was Oct 11th, 1980 versus Ole Miss in Herschel's rookie year.

I went with my Grandfather, I was 12. I remember hanging onto the fence that crossed the track where the players came out. Herschel walked right past me- he was no more than 5 feet from me.

November 15, 1969. Pat Sullivan and Terry Beasley were Sophmores and the Barn beat us 16-7. 1st game as a student was 1976 21-0 win v. Bama.

I ought to remember it well....

Last year's UGA / UK game. I'm a late bloomer, I know. Been a UGA fan for about 40 years, and didn't see my first game live and in Athens until a week after my 49th birthday.

Saw 31 Senior players recognized for their efforts. Saw both Chubb and Michel score their last TDs in Sanford Stadium. Saw UGA beat the ever-loving hell out of UK. Also saw a moron holding a sign in front of the stadium saying we were all going to hell because we were 'sports idolaters.'

It was a glorious day.

It also won't be my last game, either....although I sure thought it was when I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma four months ago. No problem, sez my urologist...we'll just take your kidney...snip, snip...cancer-free.

My mother passed from renal cell carcinoma...they took her kidney...cancer free for 18 years, then it re emerged in her liver. Good luck with your treatment...be vigilant in prevention in the years to come, and if you haven’t already, clean up your diet. My mother never did and I honestly believe it was dietary laziness that created the the conditions for the cancer to come back.

I honestly believe that mine was caused from taking a shitload of NSAIDs.

I developed a sciatica problem several years ago, and rather than go on opioids...which a pain management Doc suggested...I started taking a lot of Tylenol Migraine...the kind with aspirin, caffeine, and acetaminophen. I was taking like 10-12 of them a day, depending on how bad I was hurting.

According to my urologist, that increased the odds of developing a tumor there or in the liver. No doubt, I am a lucky man that they were able to take care of it....for now.

Mine was Colorado vs UGA in Athens 2006. Joe Cox has to come in to replace Stafford to win with mere seconds left lol. I felt like I was the reason they looked like shite so I haven’t been to a game since. Just fine watching on the flat screen.

I was at that game. I was in the army and drove up with a friend. We didn't have tickets so we went to the tracks. We saw a guy had some cutters and he went to work on the chain link fence on the east side of the stadium.

Needless to say we got in free.

First game was 1974 vs GT. I was a senior in high school and went to visit my sister who was a student at UGA. Fun was had by all. I was student the next year and played in the redneck band before dropping out to go into the army.

Did you grow up a UGA fan Rules...or did you just always have more family and friends who were Georgia fans?

Either way it’s pretty cool that you can share a UGA game experience with the board from the glory days of the tracks and whatnot. Thanks.

My 1st UGA game was the '09 Independence Bowl. I was stationed in Shreveport. I remember the pregame festivities more than the beat down we put on A&M. I got to escort the entire team around the plane i worked on. I even made an appearance on Jeff Owens twitter pg. That guy was a clown. And most of the team i got an autograph from. It was a great day on a bad season. That memory is better than my 1st in Athens...The Bama Blackout
