First full game I remember was LSU 2004. There were a few when I was a kid but I only remember who the opponents were.

The first opponent I remember was New Mexico State.. that was '95

My first wasn’t in Athens. It was at Auburn. ‘76. I was five. We won the SEC championship that day with Ray Goff off at the helm. My dad and I waited outside the locker room and I remember when everybody came out their heads were shaved and they were all smoking cigars. I also got to shake “moonpie” Wilson and “cowboy” Parish’s hands. My dad knew Erk Russell so I got to meet him too. Best day ever.

Oct 18, 1980 - Herschel Walker rushed for 283 yards vs Vanderbilt - I was 7.

Saw three games that season, can't recall all that many details

-- can remember my dad going down to the hedges and catching red and black pom poms for us. Can remember seeing Herschel disappear into a huge pile with runs up the gut and appearing like a warhorse out the other side.

One thing I can vividly recall if I close my eyes:

The Georgia/bulldogs stadium chant, but instead of half doing Georgia and the other half doing Bulldogs was one half chanting Herschel the other half Walker. (we were herschel)

also we kept like 30 different jack davis souvenir cups for years and years, wonder what happened to those..

Dawgs fan for life.

Oct. 10,1964. Clemson. A win. 19-7.
We finished the season 6-3-1, and beat Texas Tech 7-0 in the Sun Bowl. It was the first year for our rookie coach, Vince Dooley, and my freshman year at Georgia.

pretty sure it was the '00 UTk hedge game. My brother worked on the grounds crew, and was pissed. Had been to a couple of GA/FL, but that was my first one in Athens.

I was 9 so I didnt really understand the magnitude or care. Looking back though that was an awesome beginning to this journey.

Probably went to several games before then, but the first one I actually remember was Tennessee in 1998. Ugly game, but it was when I fell in love with Georgia football and it also prepared myself for a life of college football heartbreak.

2009 South Carolina game. Georgia's defense holds a forth down on the goal line to cinch it with 30 seconds left. Great game

99 vs UCF. Damn near lost that game. They had Culpepper and it took a long run by Sanks to seal it in the end.

My parents have been season ticket holders for more than 40 years so I’m pretty sure this was not the first game I went to but the first one I have vivid memories of was the 1985 game against Baylor. I was 7. I was already so indoctrinated into Georgia football that I stubbornly sat in the rain without anything for protection because the only ponchos being sold were yellow and I was damned if I was going to be confused for a Baylor fan.
