Did you grow up a UGA fan Rules...or did you just always have more family and friends who were Georgia fans?

Either way it’s pretty cool that you can share a UGA game experience with the board from the glory days of the tracks and whatnot. Thanks.

Didn't really grow up a fan. Dad went to GT, but I started at UGA as a music major, so for a while I was a fan. When I got out of the army, I realized if I got a degree in music I would end up teaching at a middle school somewhere and live a miserable life. So I decided to be an engineer.

And the rest is history. I did get to see Applebee-to-Washington in person. Cotton bowl trip. Went to USCe and Aubrin.

I was just a little squirt standing by my dad on the end zone bridge (we was poor). All I remember was Willie McClendon ran up and down the field all day.

First, I'd like to thank y'all for access to this board.

My first game was in 2011 against Costal Carolina. I was a perspective student and had been to games at a half dozen or so other schools in the Southeast. Being a lopsided matchup, I had mediocre expectations going into the game but the pregame ritual and the passion in the stadium was absolutely still there.

Definitely played a part in me enrolling the next year.

Tony Dorsett. Not my first game, but I watched him in two games. Never stopped running.

Best I have ever seen.

Western Carolina in '91. Greg Tally was the starter but Eric Zeier got to come in and I was pumped.....

Pretty sure the score was 48-0 or something close to that for the final.

UGA vs SC - 1984. The Dawgs won 35-21. I remember my dad took me to this place called Jolin's fish house in Lavonia after the game on our way back to Greenville. It was a pretty surreal experience.

I can't remember the date, but believe it was against Vanderbilt in the 70's. I was probably 10. I was there when Buck Belue brought UGA back against GT after Jeff Pyburn went down with an injury. I was there for Herschel Walker's 1st home game aginst Texas A&M also.
