Here’s the list:

Alabama
Mark Ingram
Derrick Henry

Auburn
Pat Sullivan
Bo Jackson
Cam Newton

Florida
Steve Spurrier
Danny Wuerffel
Tim Tebow

Georgia
Frank Sinkwich
Herschel Walker

LSU
Billy Cannon

Texas A&M
Johnny Manziel

Personally, for me, it’s a toss up between Manziel and Newton. If I had to choose one, it would likely be Cam Newton. He was damn near unstoppable. The Camback still haunts me.

Johnny brought an entertainment factor that I’ve never seen before in the SEC though.

Cam Newton, by a good margin. Tebow, Bo, and Herschel are runner ups.

John Lisa. I remember that one game against UF where he literally couldn't be tackled.

Obviously recency bias comes into play, but I feel like it has to be Cam. He was dominant against every team during the regular season outside of Clemson.

Cam and Tebow gave us two of the worst beatdowns I've seen us take in person so I'd have to say them.

I'd say Newton or HW. Both carried their teams

Manziel is s bit overrated. You’d be amazed at how many Aggies from his years played and are still playing in the NFL. Cam takes 2012 A&M to the nattie, Johnny leads 2010 auburn to a 9-3 year

top 4 are Bo over the top. Tim Tebow, Cam don't pay me 200K to play Newton, and Hershel walker.

Cam or Herschel: 1a) and 1b)

Maybe Henry a distant 3rd. Bo was a better athlete but Henry carried Bama to a title and had one of the best years any RB ever had.

If we’re just talking the year that individual won the Heisman. It’s Cam Newton. He carried his team, and won the National Championship. Lol at everyone who says JFF. He was no where near as dominant as some of these guys.

DYK...Cam is the only player from that offense to play in the NFL. That’s how good he was.

Just to play devil’s advocate, Johnny led his offense to nearly 560 ypg while his defense gave up almost 400 ypg.

Cam or Tebow

Manziel needed to at least win the SEC to supplant one of those guys.

I'll never forget his "heisman moment" against LSU. That play was stupid for a QB to make

Herschel Walker. Most all of the others being mentioned were partly a product of systems.

Johnny Football, although a huge douche, was a lot of fun to watch. Cam was just incredible because you just knew he would pick up the yard or two that he needed and couldn't be stopped. Bo Jackson is Bo Jackson...so in all, it's hard to say.

Wuerffel won more hardware in a single season than anyone in SEC history.
